so, this weekend, my beloved EPL will once again rock us!

its a MANCHESTER DERBY!

its between the Champ19N - Manchester United

vs

the Noisy Neighbours - Manchester City...

Frankly speaking..this will be one of the toughest match ever...

remember I have wrote about how City will be the main contender for the tittle?

well, now, they're on the top of the table...and i hate to say this, but I think they deserved to be on top, at least for now...

both team have a big squad, a remarkable talent, a new perspective of playing football, all main players are back from injuries, currently in a good form after their first win at European stage...

so if you ask me about which team will win this?

as usual, I will pick the man in RED,

but, its gonna be tough...

City have everything to compare with their neighbor now...

the only advantage that United has is, they play at OLD TRAFFORD...

the place that also known as the THEATER OF DREAM...

let just hope that we dont lose, because I cant imagine how NOISY they will be...

hei EPL, welcome back to my life...

new season, new players and new drama!

that is what I've been waiting for...

though now im at arau, i promised that I will do my best to always keep up to date with all the scores, live telecast and action!

because im just addicted to, EPL..haha

OK, nuff said, here are my simple simple preview or expectation towards a few teams that I think, should be highlighted...here we go!

MANCHESTER UNITED.

still in the dreamland after knocking their rival off the perch, the 19th tittle still seem not enough for Sir Alex Fergie since he make 3 major big signing during the summer... with the purchase of David De Gea, Phil Jones and the versatile Ashley Young, it is so clear that United's philosophy is to develop a strong squad with a young kiddo. I dont think the departure of Scholes, Van Der Sar and Gary will make this team weak..in fact, they are not as strong as we thought last season, only LUCK at their side... I have to admit that during their glory at the community shield against the Noisy Neighbours, this young squad led by Vidic and mastermind by Rooney, show some promising and entertaining game, with a short pass and very energetic run...and the ability of Smalling playing at the right, and the great prospect of young Cleverley, just answering the question on why Fergie doesnt need Sneijder on his side... this might sound a lil biases, but I have this feeling that this young squad, again will land home the 20th tittle...in United we BELIEVE. :)

MANCHESTER CITY.

though I will never be a fan of this not so great team in football industry, but as a football fan, I have to admit for this season, they will finally develop as a TEAM, and will be one of the main contender to the tittle. First of all, with all of their money in bank, funded by the wealthy Sheik Ahmad, you should look at their full squad, all the names are very familiar, from the shot stopper to the net buster, how could u say that their line up will not be better than Spurs, Everton, Liverpool or even the reigning champion itself. And I have to admit, the buy of Sergio Aguero is really something, with the unsettled Tevez (well, he always make noisy speculation since the day at west ham) Aguero is the man that we really need to watch...with the supply from Silva, Adam and Milner, and the power play by Yaya Toure, wow they really have their point when they said that this season is theirs...however, to win the tittle for the very 1st time, I think more homework on how to set ur line ups need to be done by Mancini, well it is proven dat by using 3 defensive midfielder in a game, will not bring u any success...come on, be a man! :)

LIVERPOOL.

to be fair, I am not sure where this team will end up at the end of the season next year, without any champions league action for two years in a row, they really need to build up their team, back on top...and I believed that is what King Kenny is doing now... with some injection of cash, they managed to buy Downing, Carlie Adam, Jordan Henderson and Luis Enrique, all types of player that already know about the heat of playing in EPL..why? this is because King Kenny is really serious to atleast put the team back in Top Four position..well, since they are not at the top of EPL tittle holder, I think they also did not wish to let United to sink them in term of European Tittle rite...deep inside, I hope that The Reds will keep back in track and can give a challenge to the tittle race, so they will never reall WALK ALONE. :P

ARSENAL.

to be frank, I can see that the Gunners will be in so much troubled since the departure of their another skipper, to the Catalan...throughout so many years, Fabregas is the man that always generate the movement from the middle of the field, with his leadership ability., let me say it again, they will face lots of trouble without him, even worse, if they let another in form player, Samir Nasri moved to Manc City...yes of course, they still have creativity in the team like Wilshere, Arshavin and even Ramsey, but do remember on how many occassion that both pair (cesc and Nasri) save their day last season...if I was the gunners fan, I will keep my gun pack already...:)

CHELSEA.

There's nothing much to say about this team, they're still using the same player like last season, and in chase of the Crotian playmaker, Luka Modric from Tottenham, the only major change from last season is their coach...Villa Boas, the former Porto coach...well, let's hope that he will make several change to the squad from the ageing squad to the fresh one, and dont play Torres as a front man alone, he's not worth it anymore :)

ok folks, lets just enjoy this beautiful league and most entertaining one around the world..

Champione Champione...

Hey Peeps, this might be a lil bit late, but who cares...

the 19th tittle is ours! oh yeah!

doesnt matter about what people says at the beginning of the season,

Sir Alex's boys finally prove that the critiques were all WRONG...

they did it! and they did it in a HARD but effective way...

The Wazza transfer saga, match banned for the naughty boy because of swearing, and also another trademark banned for the Boss about referee judgement, the on off form of Ferdinand, the broken leg of Antonio and many more...

and personally, I just think that all the above matter pretty much make United more stronger as a team...for so many years, we have been relying upon a one man show of Christiano Ronaldo, and yes, it effect so much last season when the departure of the Portugese to Galacticos, but now, the Midas touch of Sir Alex made this team unite under a team as a whole...kudos!

for me, among the factors behind the historical 19th tittle that kick the Merseyside off their perch are :

1. Wayne and Antonio back in form at the right moment...!
2. The terrific impact made by litte pea - Javier Hernandez..his movement and instinct absolutely superb..remind me of Ole, the baby face assassin..
3. Again, a commanding display by the Kapitan, Nemanja Vidic...deserved the Barclays player of the year, and also should get the PFA player of the year...
4. the retirement factor of Van De Sar, make everyone in the club want to give a perfect farewell medal to him...an EPL champion and a last appearance at Wembley..thumbs up!
5. A masterclass performance from Nani, finally he find a way out of Ronaldo's shadow in his game, a top list assist in the country and a pretty good goalscorer too.
6. An outstanding performance from many youngsters, Da Silva twins, Smalling and Evans...still looking forward for Obertan, who have a good spell in a reserve team, but still cant find his confidence in a top flight level.
7. Last but not least, beside another brilliance contribution by Giggsy and Scholesy, there's always an unsung hero in the team, the one and only Michael Carrick...peak at the right moment, calm in controlling the middle part of the pitch, protecting the back four so effectively, I hope he is not one of the star that will go out next season...kudos to the idol! :p

and yeah, we got another Final match at Wembley...its the mighty Catalan...what should I said?

its not Rome, the script might be the same, but the result will be different..watch out u there !

and folks, while we still celebrating the number 19, lets just hope that the enjoyment of football will never end...

in this recent 2 weeks time, the current league leader, Manchester United have to face all the big FOUR back to back..

from two previous game, they failed to deliver, LOST back to back to Chelsea and Liverpool...

and late tonite, United will host Arsenal four quater final FA Cup Tie!

what a week!

You know, both team had a same fate towards this match...

both are in an anger mood, not very well prepared and having a big MIND game to be faced!

United - despite losing to two main rivals in a week, they had to play without Nani for almost a month...that will be a bug BLOW for them...and do remember, Sir Alex Fergie is still have to face FA for his improper conduct towards referees.!

Arsenal - they also will be without Fabregas and Walcott, and though they still have a remarkable Samir Nasri, well we know how influential those two young lads when they're on pitch, right! and also, Mr Wenger is expected to fight to UEFA about the controversy decision made by the Swiss Referee during his defeat at Nou Camp!

Interesting isnt it?

So, for tonight's game, the key battle will not be at the middle of the pitch,

or

also not at the current performance of either Rooney or Van Persie, we know what they can produce..

but its a REFEREE...!

might be its too much if Im saying that Arsenal lost to Barca was because of the referee, yeah we know how Barca play, but in football, expect the unexpected...

it will be a fairer game IF Van Persie was not shown a red card, the result might remain the same, but I still believe Arsenal will had their chances!

with 11 men on the field, they can't match the Catalan, how they will do better with that joking sending off?

not FAIR, in this case, the referee was GUILTY!

in the other hand, Sir Alex had broke his media silence by his statement of slaming referee about the nasty tackles by Carragher to Nani...well, he has the case!

the referee should be consistent in their decision...

if the player MUST be booked when they take off their shirt after score a goal,

the same thing must be applied for a bad tackle like that...

in that game, both Carragher and Rafael should be off the pitch early...

I dun know, but the referees should be consistent week in and week out!

they can change the game with every decision they made...

i know they're also a human being,

but as a human we have extra advantage compare to any other living creature...

might be after all this controversial,

starting from Henry's and Suarez's HAND of GOD..

until the shame joke that caused the Gunners a match,

Hai Every1...

its a massive game tonite, the second leg of UEFA Champion League Last 16,

it's Barcelona vs Arsenal..

once again, im not a fanatic fan of both team, im just a natural football fans...

so, no biases at ALL!

the first match at London, a fortnight ago (if im not mistaken), was just an average match, except for the last 10minutes, when the Gunners able to made a superb comeback from a goal down...

thanks to Van Persie strike and Arshavin wonderful finished.

that result - gave Arsenal a hope!

Lets recap back what happened during last two season...

this two team, who personally I think had a very beautiful team performance, a total football,

had meet each other...

First leg, 2-2 draw at Emirates..

Second leg, no mercy for the Gunners, they got beaten by the Catalans by 4-1, all four came from the WonderBoy - Lionel Messi...

So, the same question that I believe in everyone's mind...

Are we going to see the same script to happen again?

For me, its hard to predict...

I would say YES, but I want to say NO...

I really would like Arsene Wenger's boy to progress to quater final, it means they have to stopped Messi and his Spanish World Cup teammates...

I have read Mr Wenger blog at Eurosport, saying that No 'anti-Messi' plan for tonite's game...

but when a team went to Nou Camp, you need to tied this boy...!

he was really quick, have a good feet, not selfish and a destroyer,

you cant simply let him have a space and give him chance to play his game...

sometime, its ok to play an efficient football rather than a beautiful game,

because in an important match like this, an efficient way WIN...

ask the Special One, he know how to handle his team during this stage..

Barca is almost complete in every department...

Name your dream team, I believe it will includes Messi, Xavi, Iniesta, Pique,Villa and even Pedro...

they play a total football, an outstanding passing game with a magnificent control in midfield..

Their key is to have a total posession, and explore their enemies half, then attack when they have chances...

on the other hand, not so many players in Arsenal's line up that we can put in our dream team.

with Walcott and Song out, Van Persie is still in a caution...

I believe the key point of this match will be the midfield battle...

The in-form Nasri and the Catalan's ex youth - Cesc Fabregas should be the man to watch tonight...

if Arsenal want to eliminate Barca out, they need to focus on how well they defends for the entire 90minutes tonite, and also how creative this two lads (nasri and cesc) to move the ball forward during counter attack...I believe, they will be a moment for them to kill the game off, or it will be the moment for them to regret...

it will be hard in Nou Camp, but dont write the Gunner's OFF!

not really in the mood for this, but as a courage from a fren, here I am..

Yeah, Liverpool had showed what they were capable all season long,

to be at their best and beat any team...

As far as I concerned, last night matched will never be The Devil's matched.

They lack of composure, very fragile at the back four, and for me Sir Alex had made a wrong team selection this time...

With Fletcher on the bench, it left a huge area on the middle for Gerrard, Kuyt and even Lucas to dominate... Scholes was a great passer of the ball, had a great vision, but his aggressive era had already pass, and Carrick, still trying to find his best form like 08/09 season...

So Fergie, U got it wrong this time...

There was nothing really special last night, except Dirk Kuyt delivered his first hat-rick in EPL and a confident performance from the new no 7 hero of Anfield, Luis Suarez...

Probably, the most important moment to be the vital point was during the nasty tackles both from Carragher to Nani, and Rafael to Lucas...

I am not going to argue about whether it was a red card situation or not, some ref might gave red and some not...and this case, both were just worth as yellow...

I dunno, its a fair decision, but might be the wrong one...

However things happened, congratulations to Liverpool, since The Kop showed that they still The Red Devil's no 1 rival...

The back to back lost since 1999, might be heavy to be accepted,

however I am still positive about MU winning their 19th tittle...

With Arsenal slipped at home to Stoke on Saturday, the tittle is still wide open...

I mean, its open just for either Devil's or Gunners...ahaks.

for Man United, the character of true champion not only required when they have to win every single game after this, but also on how they need to bounce back after 2 straight defeats...

Just find the combination in the midfield back, and let's hope Nani will be OK..

Football, especially EPL had been so closed to me since my childhood, I still remember the reason why I am the Red Devil's die hard fan, it was because the one and only,

Mr. David Beckham...

sO, although it still an uncertain week for me,

this EPL fixtures on every week in and week out, always make me feel relief on everything...

This is the answer if you guys are wondering why I am so excited to write about this all the time being...yikkk!!

Okeh, back to business!

its a midweek game tomorrow morning, at 4 am (Malaysian Time) the struggling Chelsea will host the current league leader, Manchester United.

For this preview, lets have a look to a key battle, head to head towards the lines up :

Fernando Torres VS Nemanja Vidic

Fernando Torres has enjoyed rich pickings against Manchester United defender Nemanja Vidic and the Spanish striker will hope the sight of the Serb will help kickstart his Chelsea career on this nite. How could we forget during the old days, the Red version of Torres easily eased past the solid Vida, El Nino had becamed Vidic's nightmare everytime they faced each other...However, with the current form and situation, Torres in blue version is not looking fantastic like once he did before...and also, the current form of the Serb is very fantastic, he is very confident and commanding at the back...he proved it during their last match before, and personally, I can't see why Vidic can not once again demolished his nightmare into the sweet reality...;p

Ashley Cole VS NaNi.

First, i would like to say something about nani, he's been vital for United so far this season, with the most assist player in the league, he already had step up his game after the departure of Ronaldo and Tevez last two seasons...with Antonio Valencia is still recovering from a nasty broken ankle, I would say that without Nani, there's no way United can reached the top like now, call him selfish, skillFOOL or watsoeva, but for me, as long as he is performing well, and gave the big impact to the team, he is the man to watch for tonight...Obviously, the man to watch Nani is the England most capped left back, Ashley Cole...with Ryan Giggs is expected to return, Nani will play at the right side of midfield, and will be facing Cole...without doubt, Cole is one of the best leftback beside Evra at that position...However, with the current form, it must be a tough job to handle the Pourtoguese winger...with the recent news that involving an accidentally gun shot by Cole, Let's hope it will not effect his performance...However, it is still hard for me to choose which player will get the better of each other, either way, it will always be a good battle...!

Rooney VS Referee/ Crowd!

Gud News! - Rooney will not being charged any further action by FA following his behavior toward Mc Carthy during the Wigan match, also it seem a bit harsh, but honestly for me, Rooney should be sent off for his action... Referee, Mark Clatenburg saw it, and decide it was unintentional, although the replay show the opposite...Rooney might be escaped from the punishment by FA, but I could expect that he will face a big challenge both from Terry's compatriot at the back and the fans! the fans will used all chances that they have, doing what they can by boo-ing the United No. 10 all the time whenever he involved...This will be a key point in this game, Rooney need to control his emotion, keep focusing on his task, since Sir Alex Ferguson is expected to play him as an alone striker, like he always did during a big game... so Rooney, watchout...howver, I think if Rooney cant get out of his lame and hot tempered peronality, we still can count on Hernandez, who know, might be tonight's match winner will come from the Little Pea again, go Chicharito..;p

Ok Folks, thats all for my review...as the truly United fans, I really want my team to show their effective football once again, they done it for so many time which shining during an important match, so, let's hope they will do it again...

it just not ME when I did not write something about football, MU obviously...ahaks!

so, for this entry, I would like to throw a pieces of mind about the last weekend FA cup match, 2 matches, actually...

Manchester Utd Vs Crawley Town.

Upset, totally a disappointing performance from my favorite team, again!

well, mr. parker said that this was a match of the weekend, but sorry Paul, u got it absolutely wrong...as expected, Sir Alex had named a second string team with all the big names were on the bench, but it still a stronger line up compare to the non-league opponent. right?

it shud be our match from the beginning to the end...but it never be like that ! only the first half performance that can be something to proud of, a glancing header from Wes Brown, and a couple of trough ball from Gibson that can make me felt, "OK la tue"...

but after the goal, in the second half obviously, we just sit back on our half and gave the opposition a very enjoying moment of playing at the Theater of Dream, in front of about 9000 travelling fans...well, they were the better side...

we just got lucky not to be levelled in the 90th minutes and forced to replay...the last thing that Sir Alex hope for! well, United, luckily, LUCK was really on ur side...

but I just wonder when will the lucky run will end...

It will come sooner or later, but at that time, U need to be a much better side, like we always be at the second half of the season... and with the Gunners is expected to be our guest at the Quater final of the FA cup, that shud be exciting!

p/s - the only gud thing about Mu for now, that Evra is not going anywhere, he signed a new contract, yeay!

Chelsea vs Everton.

The holders were out! Here come the new champion...

yerp, its right...the mighty FA cup team, Chelsea was kicked out from the tournament by the other blues, and more tragically, it happened at the BRIDGE...woeeeooow!

"London bridge is falling down,

falling down..."

it might not be theirs season, they made a very bright start, I still remembered, how they managed to scored an average of 4-6 goals in each matches.

they trashed every1, and suddenly, they seem like a team of crisis, out of nothing...

I dont see their problems at any department at all...

they have Petr Cech, Terry, Ivanovic and Cole at the back, Lampard and Essien as their engineer, and surely with Drogba, Anelka and Malouda up fronts, honestly they dun even need Torres anymore... they have enough ingredients to defends their tittles, both Epl and FA, but Im sure, what they lack for now is on how to mixed up all the ingredient to become a delicious meal...

Watching the game of their defeat last weekend, actually they did nothing wrong...

they played like no-one else, like the real Chelsea...but, it was not a Chelsea under Mourinho era..that the difference...Under Jose, the home place is like a heaven for them and HELL for the opponents...they played well in every department, and I am sure, thats always a reason why Drogba always played as an alone striker...only the special one knows, that Anceloti and Abramovich didn't.

if I am a Chelsea fans (which Im sure i'll never be, ahah) I would say that the defeat was such a relief...why? now the team can concentrate on getting back into the top four and Champions League...

Lampard said, if they're not qualify for next season Champion's leagues spot, it was be a DISASTER...

YES, it was unthinkable! no way Chelsea will be out of the competition, not to the team like Man City...

and, their only hope for a cup in this season is, the Champion League Cup...

For not being bias, I think every team still have their chances...

just hope that Arsenal can continued to shocked Barca at Nou Camp...

and the magical Mourinho cant applied his golden Midas touch to the Galacticos...

then the trophy will be ours, i mean the English team! ;p

Assalamualaikum, hey ALL..

one word, REMARKABLE!

wat a match, wat a goal and wat a weekend that we, (or myself) had..

TQ MANCHESTER DERBY!

might be not the best derby ever, of course totally not the most exciting match to watched..but as long as you are the RED DeviL's fan, the winning goal had just gave you everything...

from the moment of City's David Silva unable to find the net from the close range after a brialliant one two with Traitor-vez, I knew that the matched was ours!

Although we was unlucky to conceded the cheap goal by Silva or Dzeko, but thanked to that goal, one magical moment had happened, the moment of wonder from the shaky Wayne Rooney...

Again, last nite was not his best game, he just being over shadowed by Kompany at the back, and about the past the hour mark, it seem like another frustrating derby night for him..

Then, suddenly the gloomy nite for the England International turned to be his nite to remember...

on 78th minute, a crossed from a lively Nani, deflected by Zabaleta, became a perfect ball for Rooney to showed his brilliance. He did the overhead kick, and the ball went straight to the corner of the city post, with Joe Hart can do nothing...

Is this the best goal ever? Rooney said yes!

and indeed, for me it has to be a big YES also for him...

a great goal must be a spectacular, should be fantastic and one important goal.

and for this Derby game, a winning goal against a local rival, with a magical way, should be clarified as one of the best...

a perfect moment that every player dream of...

This was the massive win for United to demolished City from the tittle challenged...

now with Arsenal away, and Chelsea both home and away, also not to forget Liverpool at Anfield, the Wayne Rooney goal could be one of the decisive moment at the end of the season...

Should I said that Wayne is back?,

Let see, for a striker with such a good quality, he will be the man to watch in every game...although personally I think the man of the match belong to either Nani or Smalling, but it was also a Roo-nite to remember..

Atleast, we can shut the noisy neigbour for another season!

tho it was not such a great week and one of the hardest, let's cheer it up with an eye - catching and mouth - watering clash this weekend.."Manchester DERBY"...

Yes, its Manchester United vs Manchester City!

Wow!

what a match, come during the right time and moment of the best ever league in the world..ait?

United, the current league leader, and on their way to be the first team ever to grab the 19th Premier League Champion tittle, while their neighbour, City since last season had spend a ridiculous number of money, buying a well known players (some were worth, and lots were not), is still trying to push their potential of being a new champion of the English football.

This will be a great chance for both team to shine.

United, had suffered their first defeat of the season last weekend at Wolves, had to bounce back from the shocking loss...and if they can do it by beating City, the tittle would be theirs.

On the other hand, Man City also are so desperately need a win in this match to close the gap with United, and this is the best chance for them to atleast finish the league above their local rival, since it has been 34 years since they last won anything...weow, and they called themselves as BIG club.

However, there are several factors that might worrying United, that can spoiled their early party.

1st - The crisis at their defend,

They only have Vidic and Evra that fully fit. with the International friendly took part during the midweek, this might be a huge decision to made by both manager on their team selection. United had already lost England skipper, Rio Ferdinand due to injury that he suffered before the Wolves match, while Johnny Evans had a minor injury during his training with Ireland, Smalling is never look like ready enough and Rafael also back from a travel to France for his debut on Brazil team.

Fergie might play Smalling or Evans beside Vida, and O Shea at the right full back, who ever that get the notch ahead to start later, they have to face a really tough day to confront the man in form, Carlos Tevez.

2nd - Tactical Battle.

Roberto Mancini will surely play like he always did, with 3 defensive midfielders in the centre of the field, and two wide players on the flank and Tevez as alone striker. Call it anything, a defensive tactical or to play safe, but as long as Tevez, Silva and Yaya Toure get their form right, they still can win the match and I dun think Mancini will change this. Its the Italian Job!

Well, its not just Mancini that we can predict for his line up. Usually, Ferguson also will change his team formation during a big and crucial match. I am quit sure that he will also put 3 midfielders, to match his opponent. Carrick, Fletcher, Anderson or Scholesy will have to start to form the diamond shape in the middle.

However, it might be a lil bit different this time since Wayne is back and Berba is getting his magic touch in front of the net this season. Although Rooney had to travelled to Copenhagen for the friendly match, I dun think that will be the problem since United need him to start, because everyone know what he can produce for his team, and Berbatov must start since the statistic suggest he is the current to scorer, so its either a 4-5-1 (Rooney on the left, Nani on the right) or 4-4-2 (Rooney and Berbatov Upfront, giggsy come in the left flank) for United. Im positive that it will be 4-4-2 for United.

Personally, United need to win this one...not only because it is the Derby match, but for the tittle..Man City had been such a noisy neighbour all this recent years, they claim that they are the real MANCHESTER... and to be honest, they are almost there...with the wealth of their owner, they can buy any players that can bring them the title..it just the matter of time, but for sure, not this season...

Lets hope that this derby can cheer up our weekend, like it always did...

who can forgot about the late goal from Owen to sealed the dramatic winner last season?

since it will be a home match for United at Old Trafford, I cant see any reason why they cant trash their neighbour and start the champion party, as early as February!

For United players, U guys better not slip up again like last week, or else, from the best season ever, it will be the other way around...we might accept the lost at Wolves, but losing to City at the Theatre of Dream, will be a disaster!

EPL REVIEW !

Hye All,

Due to many respect to Mr. Parker, the former Red Devil’s Legend, I do admire his writing and critique about EPL week in and out…through his writing and commentary, he used to predict and preview the upcoming matches played every week..And for that, I would love to follow his step by doing such a similar thing…In my case; I’ll do the REVIEW of last weekend superb EPL show!!!

MATCH OF THE WEEKEND

NEWCASTLE VS ARSENAL

This was one tough decision to made, after considering a several matches including the famous victory of Liverpool at the Bridge; I have to give this match as the winner! It was so hard to recall – if any – when the last time when a team, who was a four nil down during the half time, made a comeback to drew the match and with a lil bit more lucky, they might turn back the score line. And for those who did not know, I’m talking about Newcastle who made the comeback, not the big GUNNERS…

The match was clearly look like a one way traffic as early as within the period of 10minutes when Walcott, Djorou and Van Persie put Arsenal an easy 3 goals past Steve Harper. With Van Persie bagged his brace, Arsenal was surely to increase the pressure to United during the break…

However, it’s EPL…the moment of stupidity from Abou Diaby when he react for Joey Barton tackle, change the entire game and result. He pushed both Barton and Nolan to the ground, which mr referee was just an inch away from the incident, and he was red carded immediately. For me, maybe the tackle from Barton was harsh, but with your team was very comfortable ahead, and the referee had already blow the whistle, the reaction was really unnecessary.

What happened then was already became one of the greatest history in EPL. Two penalty kicked converted by Barton, which one was acceptable and another was debated, an instinct striker goal from Leon Best and a super thundering volley from Tiote for the equalizer, complete the greatest night for the Toons and the worst for the Gunners. And for that, it was my match of the weekend!

UPSET OF THE WEEKEND

WOLVERHAMPTON VS MAN UTD

Being a fan of this club since Beckham’s era, I can’t deny that the defeat at Molineux stadium last weekend was such a huge upset of the weekend not only for me, but also for the club. It was not just to break the record, I don’t even care and no way we can stay unbeaten for the entire season with a poor away performance display so far, my biggest concern was we blew the chances to seal the title away from the rest. With a shocking result to Arsenal, the closest rival in the hunt so far, this was a huge opportunity to move 7 points at the top, but again, the away performance run make us suffered.

However, my full credit was to the Wolve side because the bottom side of the table shows a total determination, a great discipline and never respects their opponent big reputation. They not only won the game, but they came back from the early goal, and for me, if this Wolve side slip away to Championship next season, they will be missed !

For the Red Devils, if they wanna be the champion again, which I am sure they are, they NEED to bounce back and the Manchester DERBY next week after an international duty on the midweek will be very crucial, and that will be my match to watch!

LIMELIGHT (other version of player to watch)

FERNANDO TORRES !

It has to be Torres, it should be Torres, and is Fernando Torres ! The man also called El Nino was the headline not only during the last week of transfer deadlines, but also because of his body language during his Liverpool day… many expert said that, his movement on the field had told us everything about his transfer saga.

On my observation, he did nothing wrong when he said he move to the Blues because he want to achieve something with a bigger club. Absolutely well said Torres.

However, what make it so wrong was first, he moved from LIVERPOOL, second, he move to one of their RIVAL, and third, he moved during the time which the club need him to be at very best not to request a transfer for personal reason.

Say it anything, to former Liverpool No. 9 now had turns BLUE. He was handed an immediate chances to prove his move was right, but again, he was wrong.

For me, he was nowhere near his best, he never will get suit with Anelka and Drogba up front, not when they three are all in a starting line up. Drogba and Torres have share such a similar roles, they might be the scariest striking pair in planet, but with Anelka was starting to rediscover his form, Torres really need to step up his game and desire again.

For me, his move to Chelsea was a risky one. Its either he can end his medal run waiting, or also still can get a medal but from a bench or as a passanger. At the age of 26, he need to rediscover his best form, and that form actually was peak during his Atletico era. The worst case scenario is, with a 50m price tag on his shoulder, he might be another version of Shevchenko...
